Hosted KYC
Noxtica-hosted identity verification
Businesses use Noxtica to verify their customers' identity directly in the browser — no app install required.
You own the decision. We hand you the evidence.
What the hosted flow checks
The business picks the checks for each verification link. The person verifying only sees the steps that apply to them.
Identity document
Live camera capture of the front and, where the document has one, the back. On-device guidance flags glare, blur, tilt and distance before a photo is sent.
Selfie and face match
A selfie is compared with the photo on the document. Facial images are biometric data and are processed only with the person's explicit consent.
Liveness
A short guided sequence of head movements and a blink shows that a real person is present. The device records it; Noxtica's servers make the liveness decision.
ID next to face
Optional: a photo of the person holding the document next to their face adds one more comparison signal. It is never used as the only decision.
Voice check
Optional: the person reads six digits aloud. No transcript or reusable voice profile is returned to the page.
Speech analysis
Optional: estimates of spoken language and other speech characteristics, only where the business turns it on and the person gives separate consent. Estimates, never verified facts.
Email verification
Optional: the person confirms an email address through a one-time link.
Device and network signals
Each submission is checked for device and network risk signals, to help spot automated or repeated attempts.
How it works
For the person verifying
- A business sends you a personal verification link by email, text, or in their app.
- You open the link, review the business's privacy notice, and photograph your ID and a selfie.
- The business is notified of the outcome and continues your request from there.
On a computer? Scan the QR code to continue on your phone. Automatic capture helps, and you can always take the photo yourself.
For businesses
- Create a verification session from your backend with the Noxtica API, or send an invitation from the Noxtica backoffice.
- Share the personal link by email, text message, QR code or a redirect from your app.
- Your customer completes the flow on Noxtica's hosted page. Capture data does not pass through your servers.
- Get the outcome by webhook or API and review each case with its reasons in the backoffice. Results are automated signals; your team makes the decision.
Supported documents and countries
- Passport
- National ID card
- Driving licence
- Residence permit
The business decides which document types and issuing countries each link accepts. Country names appear in the person's own language.
Accessible, in 36 languages
The page opens in the person's device language, with right-to-left layouts for Arabic, Persian and Hebrew. Light, dark and high-contrast themes, screen-reader labels, keyboard support and reduced motion are built in.
Security and privacy
- Photos, video frames and voice samples are encrypted in the browser before upload and used only for that verification.
- The personal link is the only credential. It works only on this official site and is never passed on to other websites.
- The business that requests a verification controls the data and decides how long it is kept. Noxtica processes it on the business's behalf.
- Face-comparison templates are computed in memory and are not stored as reusable templates.

Frequently asked questions
Is this page asking me to verify my identity?
No. This page never starts a verification and never asks for your camera. A verification only starts from a personal link that a business sends you.
Do I need to install an app?
No. The flow runs in a current mobile or desktop browser. On a computer, you can scan a QR code to continue on your phone.
Which documents can I use?
A passport, national ID card, driving licence or residence permit, depending on what the business that sent your link accepts.
Who sees my photos, and how long are they kept?
The business that asked you to verify reviews the result and decides how long the verification evidence is kept. Noxtica processes the data on its behalf, and your photos are encrypted in your browser before upload.
Does Noxtica decide whether I pass?
No. Noxtica returns automated signals with their reasons. The business that requested the verification reviews them and makes the decision.
Which languages are supported?
36 languages, including right-to-left Arabic, Persian and Hebrew. Only the English versions of Noxtica's legal texts are legally binding.
How can my business use Noxtica hosted verification?
Create verification sessions with the Noxtica API or send invitations from the Noxtica backoffice. KYC pricing and a walkthrough are available on noxtica.com.
